Gonna be away a few days...

We use an aircard to get our internet at our house, however we need a cell booster to get signal enough to do so. Well, yesterday Troy broke our booster severing the wires. We were already scheduled to get high speed internet Sunday (Satellite) and they said they may try to come sooner, so we'll see. So, it will be a few days probably before I am able to post again. I am in town right now getting household stuff, so I thought I'd post.

All is going well at the house, the boys are settling back in great, and things are rolling well.. It is supposed to ice over tonight, so I doubt the kiddos have school tomorrow. They are out Friday too. YAY! (*rolling eyes*). So, I like me some "me" time, what's wrong with that.

You people could start leaving me comments knowing you're reading what I have to say.

Love ya, Hugs to ya!

Schools and enrollment, my day ahead

So, today I am taking Wyatt and Tucker to put them back in school. Then, I have to take Troy to Hillsboro and enroll him in pre-school (he's been on the waiting list, just got a spot, yay!). I won't know what to do with myself, I am at a loss, LOL.

Anyhow, good morning, happy monday, and I hope you all have a great week!

See that little square down there on the right corner on the posts?

That means you can click on it and leave me comments. Please do so...

Thanks :D

I made the BEST beans today!

I started them this morning, and added a whole white onion and the boiling bacon from our hog we killed. Then, I added Tony's and minced fresh garlic. I let them boil for 3 hours and added some bulk venison sausage. They were amazing. They were gone in 10 minutes...thank goodness there was cornbread to make up the difference.

Pics of Tucker

I have two recent pictures of Tucker and I love them... so I thought I'd share. I think he is the black hat sort of guy, what do you think? After all, the good guys don't always wear white these days, right? I hope to get pro pics of the kids soon, and of course I'll post when I get them done.
So, now that you have been reading, how about commenting me once in a while to let me know you're out there?
Hugs & Love

You can shoot him later!!!

Yep...I said it and it cracked everyone up. The kids were playing with the air soft guns in the house, shooting each other. Only problem is, there isn't enough for everyone. So, two kids were without (Chris was part of the chaos, and the only reason I didn't declare a cease fire emmediately...I was just happy they were all playing together.). Anyhow...Wyatt got Tuck in the arm at close range and Tucker was mad and I told him "You can shoot him later". The response was roaring laughter from the rest of the house...they thought it was funny.

The boys...

Well, I have the boys again. Their Dad brought them to me yesterday. They have been good so far and are excited to be going back to school. They promise they are going to behave, not fight, be respectful, and do well in school. I beleive them. I know they want to be good.

As I sit here and type, I am doing the kids chore chart and trying to decide the best way to cook for them. Our budget is really tight and these boys sure can eat. That is what I mean by "how to cook". Trying to come up with creative ways to use what I have, and still get everyone full. Until payday Friday, it's going to be quite a challenge, but we'll make it work. Even if that means soup for breakfast, LOL.

The rodeo talk is already making me crazy...I mean, I really don't care for it anymore I suppose. That life wore me out. I'm glad they like something, but I wish they were more into "country" than "cowboy", know what I mean? I'm all for riding horses and boots and jeans, but I want more for my boys than the roughstock competitions. Now, if they were into roping my opinion would be so different. Roping is cool.

The New President

It seems the era of Hope is to be inaugurated with a slaughter of the innocents.

That about all there is to say. I thank that man for saying it for me.

Barack approved abortion clinics to be funded with federal dollars...not only that, it's clinics outside of the United States.

Thsi man is evil. I said it in the beginning, I will say it again. He makes me wretch.

I start back to school on February 2nd

I am going to be attending online to Full Sail University. It is a REAL college, mostly with classroom study, but they offer 2 online degree programs and one is the degree I need to make my dreams a realization. I am pursuing my bachelors degree in Entertainment Business, and I plan to continue on with my Master's right after my bachelors. I will graduate in Januray of 2011. It's really a neat program...you watch your lectures online and have classroom discussions via message boards and webcams. They have lots of interactive materials and support. I am so excited.

Chris actually says he's never seen me this excited about anything, but I guess I have finally just found what I needed to move forward toward my dreams.

I think it's important for my kids to see that when you want something, you go after it.

My first official blog...

So, I am setting this up so my friends and family can keep up with me. I am really bad about writing emails and even worse about making phone calls. I KNOW. I am so sorry, but I stay really busy and distracted. Well, there is no excuse. It is wrong for me to be so disconnected, but believe me, I think of all my friends and family very often. I pray for you, I long to talk to you, and more than that I long to sit down with you and visit. I am trying to get better about that. I promise you all this though, I will post on here daily, sometimes multiple times daily, as long as I have internet access.

Now, everything you read here might not be pretty...I will use this space to vent, to cry, to bump around ideas, to brag, and to waste time. So, here it is. Now I am off to send you all invites to my blog so you can bookmark them and keep up. :D I promise to post pictures of the kids often, me sometimes, and other random "stuff".
