The bees

Troy has always been terrified of bees...and flies. No matter what you told him about the common housefly, he was convinced it was a bee and would sting him. For at least 3 years I know he has been put into a tailspin anytime a fly got near him. So, imagine our surprise when he turned a corner and announced that the flies in our R.V. were his pets. Pet flies? Yep. Anytime we would swat one away, he would get upset and apologize for not having better trained pet flies. He really got upset when one died. We tried to hide it when we got rid of one.

Kids are so funny in how they interpret things.

  1. Oh, my.

Any bug post gets my attention, and we have had pet grasshoppers, a pet preying mantis, and undoubtedly some others I don't recall.

Fortunately, so far, no pet flies.

    Too funny...
